Gripping Tales from India

Our country is spectacularly rich in talent but unfortunately a lot of them never get noticed. Every athlete has a story to tell & every story is fascinating. But behind every success story, is a tale of solid grip. A grip over passion, dreams & the resolve to make those dreams come true!

FURO Sports proudly presents the incredible story of Annu Rani, the athlete from Bahadurpur, U.P. who has 4 national records under her name while becoming the first & only woman to cross the 60 m mark in Women's Javelin Throw in India. Cheer for her!

Victory belongs to those who believe in it the most and the longest. We have heard it. She has done it! Annu Rani has bettered her own record yet again at the Federation Cup last week with a new national record throw of 61.86 m, the highest ever in the history of women's javelin throw in India.

She broke her own last record of 60.01 m. This is her fifth national record in the last three years.
As she becomes the 1st Indian woman ever to qualify for the World Championships, FURO Sports wishes her a victorious stint at the event that will be held later this year in London.
